Kapili Roofing Gives Back: Ark of Safety

Kapili Roofing’s 15-year anniversary celebrations continue. We appreciate our community that has supported us over the years. This year, we’re giving back to other organizations and businesses that are also helping to change others’ lives.

That’s why we’re partnering with Ark of Safety Christian Fellowship to receive one of our 15 automatic external defibrillators (AEDs) that we hope may one day save someone’s life.

Kapili Roofing: Protecting Future Generations

In an area where homes are susceptible to storms and frequent rain, we recognized the need for quality, trustworthy roofing services in Hawaii. That’s why we went into business in the first place, ensuring our friends and neighbors had someone to call on to protect their families and their homes. But we realize that a person’s livelihood extends beyond their home, which is why we’re doing more to protect it.

According to the National Center for Early Defibrillation, AEDs have been shown to be effective in reducing the mortality rate from sudden cardiac arrest by as much as 40%. AEDs can be used by anyone, regardless of their training or experience, and can be a vital tool in saving someone’s life.

AEDs are relatively easy to use and maintain, making them a great option for both businesses and individuals. With more life-saving AEDs accessible to the public, we’re helping to close gaps and instill peace of mind in the communities we serve.

Why We Chose Ark of Safety

Ark of Safety Christian Fellowship Church is located in Waianae, across from Lualualei Beach Park. The church provides multiple services each week to adults and children, as well as on-demand online sermons, online classes, and other events throughout the year. The church will also arrange transportation for those who wish to attend but have no means to do so.

The church’s embodiment of servant leadership, coupled with its connections to the community, make it an ideal location for an AED device.

We believe in the mission of this church because it is focused on helping others and has the ability to reach more people. They have a clear goal of helping people in need, and we trust that they will use our donation to help as many others as possible.

We started our own business to ensure that homeowners in our area not only had access to a quality roof, but also the advice, expertise, and guidance to go along with it.
